Frequently asked questions

  • This is the most common question that we get asked, almost on a daily basis. The price ultimately depends on the time it takes to film and edit.

We pride ourselves on clear customer communication and transparency with pricing to give you peace of mind.

You can view our rate cards and pricing structure on our pricing page.

Use our quoting form which allows you to add the information we need to provide you with a fixed price quote.

  • Cost isn't defined by the length or duration of the video.

It's more the complexity of the production and edit that determines the cost of a video. Two different videos, both 3 minutes in length, could have different production costs because of style and type of video.

For example, a 3-minute piece-to-camera video will take less time to film and edit compared to a 3-minute video that has been crafted into a story using footage from a longer interview and b-roll footage.

  • The number of videos you require within the one project can influence the cost per video. However it depends on the production type.

A collection of training videos is a good example:

The first video is going to take some time to create. Setting up for the shoot can sometimes take longer than the shoot itself.

In post-production there are titles, text and graphics to style. However, once we have the first video signed off, we can use that sequence as a template for the others which means the following videos are much faster to produce.

  • Because every video is different, we will have to talk to you about your project to understand your objectives. This will give us an indication as to how long a it will take to produce your video. To help answer your question, send us a reference video so we fully understand the production style you are looking for.

  • Our videography kit includes:

    • Multi-camera interview shoots

    • Lighting

    • External audio

    • Autocue/teleprompter

    • Drones for aerial footage and photography

    • Time lapse

    • Gimbal (steady cam) footage

    • Cine lenses.

  • We are more than happy to have an obligation-free chat with you to get an understanding of what it is you are trying to achieve with your video project.

We will help come up with creative solutions to get you started. If possible, we’d love to see a reference video of what style and production type appeals to you and your business purpose.

  • A reference video is an example video of what you are looking for in your production. When you provide a reference video, we get an understanding of the style of video you are looking to produce. A reference video will give us an idea of the level of production required to fulfil your brief (e.g. the number of cameras required, and if studio hire, drone shots, motion graphics are needed). Please note, a reference video doesn't not have to relate to your industry.

  • There may be valuable ways you can help promote our business, and we will return the favour with discounts or value adds so you save money, and we both win.

  • By providing us an example video matching what you want to achieve with your own production could assist our understanding of your project objectives. One of the videos on our website might work to demonstrate what you want to achieve.

  • One videographer will be able to shoot interviews and b roll, and drone footage. Without an assistant, it will take the videographer to set up and move locations if that’s required.

If you are looking to shoot multiple locations, interviews, and include photography into the shoot, a camera assistant/photographer would be a more cost effective option to add to the crew.

  • The cost of producing a video can vary significantly from project to project. Production costs depend on a range of factors including:

    • Style of the video required

    • Locations — how many and where?

    • Interviews — how many, what style?

    • B-roll/overlay footage

    • Motion graphics (post production)

    • Professional voice overs

    • Talent hire.

  • Since our opening in 2015, we have had a policy of unlimited rounds of changes for all our videos as standard. Your video will finalised when you are happy and satisfied the video matches the brief. However if there is a significant addition to the brief e.g. you want to create a social cutdown from the footage, or you need a brand update, there may be additional editing charges.

Please note, we guarantee all our work. Customer satisfaction is at the core of our business.

  • No cancellation fees will apply if the shoot is postponed prior to the day of filming.

This means you will not be charged any cancellation fees if the weather is bad or someone calls in sick the day before the shoot. However, if the shoot gets delayed once on location (for any reason) and we need to reschedule, there may be additional costs.

  • We regularly fly up and down the east coast of Australia.

We have a compact high-quality camera kit that only requires one additional checked-in bag. We also travel internationally, with experience in organising carnets along with relevant insurances.

We have a battery/inverter system to keep camera gear charged when filming in remote locations, closer to Brisbane.
